Before edition the stories of writer-thinker of world scale Ì. V. Hohol' (1809-1852) entered "Vechory na Khutori Pid Dykan'koyu" in a translation Ukrainian : "Sorochynskiy Iarmarok", "Vechir Pryty Yvana Kupala", "Mays'ka nich, abo Utoplena", "Zapropashcha Hramota", "Nich Proty Rizdva", "Zacharovane Mistse".
Pictures of reality in them interlace with fantasy on folk-lore basis.
