The Vydubychi Church Chorus was founded in Kyiv, Ukraine, at the beginning of the revival of Ukrainian Orthodoxy.It was one of the first church choirs in Kyiv to reinstate the singing of divine liturgies in Ukraine. The works presented in this recording form part of the repertoire of the Vydubychi Church Chorus of Ukraine.They have been selected in order to provide listeners the opportunity to hear liturgical and other spiritual compositions which are frequently encountered by church singers and conductors.In addition to well-known works, this collection includes unique compositions which are sure to interest lovers of Ukrainian sacred choral music.
