The musical project UKRAINIAN BARVY is a vocal-instrumental ensemble which has its start in 1999. All four performances are classically trained musicians, individually active in the World of classical music in Kyiv and other Ukrainian centers of culture.
The ensemble repertoire includes various genres of music, among them folk songs, author's songs, ritual, classic, modern, old church music (chants, psalms) and the instrumental music. The works are taken on various forms of presentation : a-capella, instrumentals, solo musical numbers, duets, trio, quartets.
The ensemble makes use of the following instruments : violin, cymbals, kuvysti, saxophone, clarinet, zozulia, flute, base flute, block flute, bells.
