The new club album! This is the new exotic mixture of modern club electro sound with unique for Europe ethnic elements. Ruslana being involved with creation of her own music style Drums&Dance (hard ethno dance) which actually became really popular in Europe, has initiated the session of mountain expeditions to the Carpathians and managed to collect the whole library of unique ethnic samples of sounds and rhythms of ancient Carpathian culture, which in fact had already disappeared from everyday life. This special material was the push to creating the new dance trend. And this trend served as the base for the new dance grooves of hard-ethno-percussion for Ukrainian, Turkish, Austrian and Finnish DJ’s.
The idea of making such a project appeared right after the victory at Eurovision song contest. That was the time when Ruslana got acquainted to Turkish band Harem, who mixed couple of Ruslana’s songs in very special manner. Some of these remixes were included to the album Wild Dances, and in countries they were more popular than the original versions (like it was in Turkey and UAE). As the success in Europe progressed Ruslana started to receive more and more offers concerning the co-working from the leading European DJ’s. In the spring of 2005 Ruslana declared the starting point of the contest, topic of which is the creation the remixes to her songs, and Ruslana would pick up the best works to be included on her new release. The call was heard. In really short period of time it was about 200 of record sent to Ruslana’s address. The most original (i.e. the versions that expose the DJ’s personality) were picked up. The result was more than good – it’s hard to imagine more unusual interpretation than this CD is.
