«My flashbacks About Old Past» Dmytro Doroshenko (1882–1951), prominent historian and publicman, devoted the most dramatic period of Ukrainian history of XX Century – 1914–1920 years. The first World war is on Ukrainian earths, National revolution in 1917, activity of politicians, political motions and Ukrainian public institutions of time of Central Rada, Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskoho and Directory of UNR, workaday life of those stormy years, is all described in flashbacks the active and interested participant of events. Dmytro Doroshenko, which was the province commissar of Chernihov in 1917, by a minister for foreign affairs the Ukrainian State in 1918, by the participant of legations in 1919, took part in establishment of the Ukrainian university in Kam'yantsi-Podil'skomu, and was afterwards forced to depart in banishment, it is belonged to the cohort those not many people, sincerity and decency of which was not added doubts even political opponents.
