Founded in 2002 Western Ukrainian Folk Band BURDON specializes first of all in performing Carpathian traditional music with a strong modern influences, but the roots of their inspiration are based on folklore from the whole Europe, through Scandinavian to Balkans.
This particular album presents eastern European contemporary folk music from mysterious Carpathian region, inspired by Hungarian, Romanian & Ukrainian traditional material, also including tunes of such unique ethnic minorities like Csango, Lemko, Rusyn, Boiko & Hutsul.
